THIS IS NOT A NEW SITE, BUT IT'S NEW HERE...ORIGINALLY ON POSTEROUS...which is closing down at the end of April 2013..I am starting all over again...just setting aside some space to express CARE & CONCERN for our minorities in America, especially Latinos as i seem to encounter so many here in southern California, but for ALL other minorities as well. We must continue to pray for our minorities...they are an important part of our communities...and all of us were once immigrants of one sort or another..except arguably native-Americans. Immigrant and minority is not always one-and-the-same, but often it is interchangeable in some respects.My ancestory is Dutch...albeit in America we were also considered "white." We grew up thinking of ourselves as Dutch-American, not white. We retained and cherished some aspects of our original culture. Yet, on various government forms etc we are "caucasian." But this website is dedicated to those who are non-white, and yet for whom I express care and concern as an evangelical Christian. It really is part and parcel with my faith to express care & concern for others rather than become political about the various aspects of immigration and "labels." Watch here for new updates...and I ask you and encourage you to participate in prayer & care for our minorities in the USA. And if you are a minority yourself, please also pray for those of us who are not considered "minorities"...that we may be sensitive to the various issues & concerns that we ourselves don't think about on a daily basis.
